The lack of posts to this blog is just a matter of the workload generated during the covid pandemic for the main project, the RailGenArchive . Despite our best efforts a backlog of mostly large and time comnsuming files quickly built up and the blog missed out. We`ve been adding as much new content each week as we can with a vast amound of new and amended info now added to RGA./br> Things have eased off a little of late, but we are getting 70-80 mails a week, much of this goes straight on, while lists of amendments and we are slowly working on the backlog as well. So, if you've sent us a file which as yet to appear, we do appreciate them and we are working through them and the backlog is currently reducing albeit rarther slower than anyone would like!
The 1980's Timewarp site was dedicated to a time when it was still possible to travel all over the British Railway network on traditional locomotive hauled passenger trains behind a wide variety of real locomotives. Preserving as much of the gen as accurately as possible since 1999. Going forward the site will be known as The RailGenArchive and this blog will bring you news of the latest developments with this ongoing project.
